Faculty

Susan Aposhyan, M.A., L.P.C. developed Body-Mind Psychotherapy as an application of Body-Mind Centering to the process of psychotherapy. In addition to trainings and workshops, she maintains a private practice. She is the former director of the Somatic Psychology Department at Naropa University, and is the author of Natural Intelligence: Body-Mind Integration and Human Development (now available on this website, see home page, published in 1999, Williams and Wilkins) and Body-Mind Psychotherapy (WW Norton in 2004).

 

 

Holly Li Sebastian Maiz, M.A., L.P.C., D.T.R., C.A.C. III evolved from a background in Dance Therapy, Experiential Organizational Development, Improvisational Performance, and Addiction Treatment, to practice “a ruthless devotion to embodiment.” She holds two degrees in Dance Therapy, and is a Certified Addiction Counselor. She developed ‘CorpoRealities’, a body-centered approach to enhancing creativity and cohesiveness in the work place. Her website is www.bodymindwellbeing.com
