Understanding and
experiencing our body-mind allows us to tap into the foundations
of compassion and presence. Deepening
our connection with self through embodiment practice, we increase
our capacity to empathize profoundly with another. Learning and growth
among our clients and students is enhanced by our deep understanding
of their psycho-physical processes.
In this two-day
workshop, we will learn simple and powerful tools for human interaction
based on the principles of Body-Mind Psychotherapy, a somatic approach
to psychotherapy developed by Susan Aposhyan. Learn to address
issues such as bonding, trauma, and development, based on an embodied
understanding of the interface between body, mind, and emotions. Open
to all helping professionals.
